Every organization has its own unique challenges in each phase of the software procurement lifecycle - discovery, purchase and deployment - alongside its cloud migration. Amazon Web Services and Accenture surveyed 399 IT and software procurement decision makers in Australia, Singapore and India to understand the challenges in their software buying journey. For our purpose, we broke the respondents into two distinct groups: Enterprise and digitally leading businesses.
The distinction was made based on company responses regarding their size, revenue, and cloud-related business activities. Digitally leading businesses are companies that are cloud-native, or have migrated more than 80 percent of their workload to the cloud.
